Isaly’s to set up new shop in the strip district

Isaly’s is making a comeback, with plans underway to open a new shop in Pittsburgh’s Strip District that brings back the traditional charm and offerings that made the original stores beloved throughout western Pennsylvania.

Our iconic brand, since 2015, is returning to its roots — inspired by memories of skyscraper ice cream cones and deli counters serving signature chipped chopped ham. We’re reintroducing these nostalgic elements in a new 3,500-square-foot space at 2111 Penn Ave., marking the first new Isaly’s store in decades.

With a focus on doing things right, the new shop will offer many of the same treats and experiences that made Isaly’s a regional staple, including a deli counter, classic ice cream flavors, and homemade ice cream bars.
